Who Is PEPAC?

PEPAC is an organization of representatives from the approximately 80 Primary Entry Point (PEP) stations, at least one of which is located in each U.S. state or territory.

Purpose of PEP

The primary purpose of PEP stations is to act as a conduit for EAS warning messages, including allowing the president access to the airwaves in the event of a national emergency.

What PEPAC Does

PEPAC works intricately with FEMA and IPAWS providing support and resources to state and local EAS representatives, including individual radio stations, in all aspects of the Emergency Alert System.
